My ten year old daughter needed them badly because other girls at school had them. I wore white canvas sneakers in the 1990s, so I was very familiar with the brand. I bought school uniforms for my children and second graders. Although they are cute at first glance, they are so annoying to clean. My Kindergartener stepped in the mud the first week of school and that was the end of good white shoes.
