Too hard for my 3 year old.

They look cute and durable but they are too stiff for my 3 year old's feet. He's used to sharp sandals. They are also very difficult to put on and I didn't even tighten them because they felt so tight. I think I should have tried running shoes instead. I chose them because they protect his feet from bark and he likes to hike.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

daughter loves her!

My daughter loves these for our hikes in the NC/Georgia/Tennessee Appalachian Mountains. They are comfortable for her when she needs extra toe room unlike some of the new Keens which feel narrow. Proven waterproof, they'll keep your feet dry as you traverse mud, puddles and streams on the trail. They are easy to put on and take off which is a huge bonus! Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Waterproof? The feet often feel slightly damp (poorly breathable).

Although these shoes look good, there are a few downsides. They're a bit stiff despite having been worn a few times (particularly the velcro upper which makes them an average top in my opinion). Didn't "jump in any puddles" like the kid reviews (I'm an adult with small feet) but they seem waterproof enough for rain. Their main downside, however, is that they don't feel as breathable as I'd like (although they are more breathable than wellies) - so my feet often feel a little damp - and I…

Excellent Quality

I love these shoes! They are of excellent quality! Our toddler struggles with shoes but they still look brand new. His last shoes fell apart before he outgrew them. I think he'll outgrow these boots before they fall apart! I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

Pros
  • CARE AND ODOR ADVICE: KEEN recommends using a leather cleaner and conditioner available at most shoe stores and/or shoe repair shops; Contains Eco Anti-Odor, a natural probiotic technology that reduces odor
Cons
  • Not sure
