Great resource for children with Sensory Processing Disorder

I have a 5 year old child who is currently in occupational therapy for a problem with sensory processing. His therapist sometimes uses a weighted blanket when he's at his desk to do things that involve writing, using scissors, or other things when using his hands so he doesn't fidget his legs as much. She recommended that we use it for 15 minutes at a time as needed. He doesn't use it before bed. Only sometimes when he asks to use it or when we're trying to work on a letter etc. It's a super…

My 5 year old loves this blanket

I finally got this weighted blanket for my 5.5 year old child with anxiety who never slept well. He liked it immediately, it's very soft and seems to be a good weight. After a few nights his sleep improved (he used to go to bed with us in the middle of the night at least half the time, now maybe once a week or less). Highly recommended! I wish it was a little bigger but it works fine; I try to remember to check it before I go to bed so I can tuck the covers back in if needed. I like that the…

In principle a good product, but there is a design problem that I haven't noticed until tonight. My son is a very busy and curious boy and I heard something knocking down the stairs. He took the blankets off the ceiling, climbed in, zipped it up and couldn't get out.
