Some things to consider

I have to say that I've been a long-time sound freak with a strong penchant for separate sounds. However, technology has advanced and this product has (unsurprisingly) received rave reviews from the omniscient YouTube. I was looking for comfort and good sound quality. I didn't get the last one, and the first one isn't all there is to it. Connection to the network was quick and the world's latest KEF app is better than the two apps they released for the first-gen LS50 wireless model. However…

The best combination of sound quality, functionality and compactness I've come across

As someone who appreciates quality sound and wants the convenience of the multi-room functionality that Wi-Fi streaming offers, this speaker system is an absolute no-no -brainer.revolution. It says a lot about the situation that I spent far less time building the new system than disassembling the old one. I estimate that with the approximately 40 pounds this pair of speakers weighs (including built-in amplifiers, etc.), I replaced over 170 pounds of equipment. So less chaos! The setup was easy…

Pros first: Sound: These powered speakers sound fantastic. Their picture and soundstage are so fantastic for the price that it's hard to see how they do it. I have speakers on steel stands on either side of a large sofa facing into a large room and I'm sitting on the sofa (between the speakers facing away from me!), do they still sound good? We weren't expecting acceptable stereo performance between and behind the speakers, but there it is. Of course, when placed correctly, they sound better…
