Perfect fit for my 2009 KLR 650. Highly recommend, I'm 6ft 1" tall and the riser has greatly reduced lower back fatigue. It's not a partial fall on this bike. Choke and throttle cables, took me about 1.5 hours. I also recommend using a Loc-Tite/Threadlock as even after tightening to spec one bolt came loose which I noticed while riding. After applying screw lock and re-tightening, I had no more questions.

I just need some height for a more upright position. I searched and searched, found many options and many different prices. I finally settled on these and as I expected they were absolutely perfect. Has enough headroom for a more comfortable fit and doesn't need an extension cord. You can pay more, but the quality and fit is all you need. If you need about 1" riser risers, get these, you won't be disappointed.

You can use them to raise the handlebars, but they look cheap and the screws that come with them are pretty coarse. They do not inspire confidence that they will not fail over time. I mounted them on my 2014 V Strom 1000 and took them off a few days later because the stroke was too much for the length of the brake lines and other cables. As a result, I could either tilt the slats forward into an uncomfortable position or do a ton of work to accommodate longer lines. I decided it wasn't worth…

From a dozen or more bolts I add to my 2014 KLR650 it's the second biggest difference for the money! ). These risers were replaced in no time. Fit perfectly and look great. All OEM cables and wires were long enough with a little slack adjustment. The comfort, only Sitting 1" further back and arms a little higher made a huge difference. Standing up while riding over rough terrain is also much more comfortable. I wish I would have done that a year ago when I bought the bike.
