HOW, BUT. for sewing

How can I give five stars and say I love this rug and then say NO? Lightweight - not big enough! LOL Seriously it's not Ken Oliver's problem because he has a really huge rug that you can buy but I couldn't afford this version in the way I wanted/needed so that was my compromise. My recommendation? Well, we all have different needs and circumstances. So if you're a USE THE WHOLE TABLE lover, I recommend saving up for the largest version Oliver sells. Happy crafting! This rug is amazing!

Good for me to sew

I have a rug each for Nuevo, Ranger and Ken Oliver - all great rugs. But my favorite is the Ken Oliver rug, mostly for its non-slip properties and ease of cleaning. Last week a friend and I worked with 6 children ranging in age from 4 1/2 to 6 years. They painted, glued and glued real duck eggs to make them look like a chicken sitting in a crepe paper nest. Ken Oliver's rugs were SO quick to clean (we used diaper towels) and the rugs didn't move across the table even with small hands bending…

Great unique tool

That's the right name for this craft mat! I've been using the Ranger for a few years and while it was good for technique and easy to clean, it slipped too often. This mat is a slightly thicker silicone material that can be crumpled and folded and still bounces great. It sticks to your work surface and paint cans, pens, brushes, etc. won't slide on it, meaning you don't have to chase paper or tools around your work table while you work with it. This is very useful when you find it difficult to…

So happy watching YouTube videos and speaking to Ken.

I don't know what other people are talking about. I am delighted with my carpet. Glitter will always be a thorn in my side, but I always keep a bucket of baby wipes handy. My other craft rugs are stained and need replacing. I was so happy when I saw the YouTube video and Ken talked about this rug. I actually bought two to cover the entire surface. If you like the Tim Holtz rug, try the Betty Crocker Oven Liner instead. It's a lot cheaper and does the same thing. I have all three and Ken has the

Fantastic for alcohol ink

PICTURE NOTE: The pad is more off-white than shown in the pictures. I've used white paper in my alcohol ink projects (especially with translucent paper I needed a solid background) and it was a bit awkward to use (could puff up and cause permanent stains) and wasted (staining made it difficult to work with). for reuse). An unexpected bonus is how useful it is to clean on the go - so if I see ink under my work and it's affecting my work, I can quickly and easily revert to "white background"…

  • Great value for money

  • Large and bulky
