The mirror fits well, folds in and out with no problems.

The mirror fits well and can be folded in and out without any problems. The only downside is the rubber stopper that fits into the handle, which comes in two sizes and doesn't stay in place. I don't know if rubber was used for vibration, but it moves on impact. The mirrors stay in place while cruising the highway with minimal vibration.

Not perfect but very reasonable

I got two of these as a reasonable alternative to the Napoleon end mirrors I was looking to replace. Once installed, they are somewhat adjustable, but not as powerful as the Napoleons, so the field of view isn't as great. They are solidly built and the tolerances are good, showing no signs of breaking on the first close encounter with a hard object. Installation was easy. Before inserting, spray the rubber parts with some hairspray to set them in place.

  • Good looking
Cons
  • Small things

Well worth it and the limitations are minimal

OK, style is a 5, durability is definitely a 4, but what deserves 3 stars is the bindings. They use a compression fitting with a rubber washer that I had to tighten with titanic pressure to prevent fairly extensive sight face repositioning and vibration at highway speeds. I think a heavier rubber or maybe even moderate PVC or Nylon used in the bushings will fetch more money for both fit and vibration dampening. I can play around with that later. As for their looks and their speed on the roadโ€ฆ

Good mirror for the money good quality

Bought for my old Yamaha XS650. They look good, they seem very solid and despite what others say the mirrors are really convex giving a very good, wide and unobstructed view of what's behind you. I found the picture quality to be very good, up to 55mph and above when the vibration builds up. I have an old parallel twin with no counterweights, so that's to be expected. Others have mentioned issues with the rubber expansion plug not being compressed tight enough. I would suggest giving theโ€ฆ
