Wrong size for cycling

Wanted to fit a tire and was told it was 20 x 1.25 but the one on the rim was 20 x 1 1/8 and significantly larger than the one he sent had, even he does not fit on the rim

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not the best

Don't buy this. They are complete rubbish!

They bulge in the sidewall at pressures in excess of 30psi. I bought 4 and all 4 had a flat spot and climbed horribly. I sent all 4 back and bought the Michelin. Same price and much better quality. Don't buy this. They are complete rubbish.

Great tires for road mountain bikes.

Attach these to your old Trek 950 singletrack. Changing from 1.75 60psi city tires to 1.25 100psi made the handling a little different. After a good rain I was a bit nervous but the tires turn well and grip the road. Gravel can be an adventure. Overall I'm very happy with the improved rolling resistance and feel like I use less energy on climbs. I can only recommend these tires if you drive almost exclusively on asphalt.

  • Decent performance

26 x 1.25 size 100psi - Easy to install

Tires arrived very quickly. The 26 x 1.25 is definitely rated for 100psi and the weight of each tire measured on my scale is 470 grams. Mounts easily to 26" (559) Sun Rhyno rims if you use 1.0-1 Use .5 tubes - 1.75-2.25 tubes can bunch up I've used Kwest for tandem work in the past - I like their thicker sidewalls and high pressure capability for heavy tandem use (thinner and lighter tires tend to fail quickly) Let's see how they hold up.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unnecessary features

Great city tire! in Sports

If you own a road bike and like the size, fit and fit, you will have no problem finding tires narrow enough to keep rolling resistance to a minimum. But those of us who want to use a mountain bike for commuting often don't find narrow and non-knobby tires. That is the answer. They are not entirely smooth; There is a little tread pattern to help you understand when they wear out. But they also don't have the vibrating, bumpy surface that off-road-oriented MTB tires do. I've used them beforeโ€ฆ

25) were great. on tires and tubes

These tires (26 x 1.25) were great. I've had a couple of these since May 2017 and eventually one of them had an explosion from falling apart inside. although I felt the impact beforehand and the tire was deformed. I was planning to order a new one but didn't have time. it was faster than the Kenda Kross Plus (26x1.95). I just replaced the rear tire with a previously used Kenda Kross for temporary use on the commute. I don't know if I should order KWest again or look for another one. It took meโ€ฆ
