This is great! I tried other brands that were cheaper because I had to use 4 pads a day for 3 months. Other brands fell apart and didn't have this type of pillow!

They are great for wound care. Very thin material is not as absorbent as I would like but their size covers a large area which was great for my severe case of poison ivy which was spreading up my legs with blisters and oozing sores. This box of 50 was enough for more than a week of dressing changes twice a day.

I have just bought/received/opened my second box and started using it. The first purchase was made a year and a half ago to protect forearms burned during radiation therapy. I use this 2nd box for a small (treated) skin cancer and a large (ulcerated) skin cancer. According to the Telfa specification, they do not stick to the wound! Also this size is perfect! You can cut the pads to any length and save the rest for another time. and don't break! I doubt I'll ever buy a smaller Telfa pad again!

I was very surprised when the item arrived in an unsealed box. The product appeared intact, but why are medical devices sold to consumers in this way? My guess is that the product comes in open boxes because it's usually sold in bulk to hospitals where product integrity relies on the entire box being sealed. If the hospital bought a large box, it would be very convenient to leave the individual boxes open. As a person who buys a box, I don't like this packaging. The product itself is good. I…
