It's easy to pick. Made cheap. They work. But not for long. I had to trim the bottom to make it more comfortable. My fingers kept getting stuck in the elastic floor.

They were similar to the ones they gave me in the hospital but I needed a different pair. Hence they have holes in their toes. I have slim legs so the medium size fit me. These are all difficult to use even weeks after surgery. So ask your GP to get you "sock aid" and possibly a grip and show you how to use them. Helps a lot!

Hot tip. When you're ready to put on your socks, grab the included plastic bag and place it over your toes and feet. Put the stockings on the bag and on the leg. After slipping the stockings over the heel and calf, pull the plastic bag out of the hole at the top of the stocking and repeat the process with the other leg. You won't believe how much it simplifies the process. Excellent quality stockings.

Exactly the same tubes my mum wore the last time she was in the hospital. She has swelling all over her leg, mainly her foot and ankle. Despite her medication she has swelling and as she has less circulation due to her age this has helped a lot. Nice to find matching ones so she can wear one while the others go off. The open toes are great as we don't want their toes pinched together and also the podiatrist can examine their feet without having to remove the tube. Excellent price.

The other reviewers on this item are mostly right. These are the exact same TED socks you get after open heart surgery, right down to the hole in your toes. As the packaging says, it's for "non-ambulatory patients," which translates to "people who can't walk on their own."
