The foam is not attached to the plastic but I put the foam first and snapped the plastic frame over it. No trimming or modification required.

This filter is designed to protect the vacuum cleaner motor from dust that can bypass the vacuum cleaner's main dust collector. In order to function properly, it needs to align and snap into place. This filter does not work due to broken tabs.

Nothing as pictured I have a black frame with a separate piece of foam that is not attached. I paid more for this one because it looked better, but it wasn't. is very loose, you will need to attach the foam to prevent the vacuum cleaner from sucking it up

The filter part is much thinner than OEM filter. It doesn't look like they're really filtering anything. The plastic frame is very thin. All filters arrived broken. This is an extremely cheap counterfeit OEM filter. Don't waste your time and money.

The plastic tab that helps align the part in the vacuum was broken when I took the part out of the box but it worked fine enough Install the part when done neatly. The new filter element is not as strong as the one originally fitted, but none of the others for sale looked better.
