Bought for my daughter who is 9 years old. She had a pair of matching Jessica Simpson flats, but they were completely worn. Couldn't find the same apartments she had before so bought them instead hoping my very picky daughter would like them. Well, she wore them and still wears them. At first she complained a little that the little tag on the back of the shoe bothered her, but she realized if she put the tag in there then everything was fine and I haven't heard any complaints since.

My 7 year old daughter wears most shoes in a size 1.5. I bought her size 2 and they fit her perfectly. She is concerned that she will outgrow quickly so I also ordered 2.5 and they are quite large but can be worn with a liner or socks. Ballet flats are difficult to size because they only look good when they fit properly. So I would say these shoes need to be half a size bigger to fit properly.
