There is a bit of a learning curve, but I bought a paint kit that included a scraper, precision knife and a bottle of soapy water. After the first half of the first window I was feeling pretty confident. I left room on all sides and just used a precision knife to trim the window cleanly. I used this for my windscreen as it gets direct sunlight most of the day and it heats up near this window. Installation was easy even with such a large window. This reduces a lot of glare on our TV and noticeably reduces the heat as well. Now we don't need to double the blackout curtains. Consider doing it in other bedrooms as well. Very happy with the result.

I hung this on my daughter's bedroom window because the sun hits her window most of the day and it gets very hot. I have no experience with window film but I didn't find it that difficult. Just make sure you spray the window and film with water before applying. The movie definitely changed her room. I had to use 2 rollers for her window because it's a big window.

Two people are required to install large windows. The light in my apartment was on and you could still only see its glow and nothing else even though my bed was about 2-3 feet from the window. The light is on the left side of the room, opposite my bed. The camera didn't catch that glow, but it was there. Even with a lot of air bubbles, some gaps and creases, the mirror effect still works great and can be easily removed. Good product!

The first picture shows a window. The second has the top three but not the bottom three so you can see the difference. About 10 minutes from start to finish per window for installation. I suggest spraying (fogging) the window lightly before applying, buying a rubber edge smoothing tool to smooth out any bubbles/excess water, and using a metal rug and knife to trim the edges. I am very happy with this product and it has a very light mirror finish on the outside so it looks very nice too…

We have a large house with old single windows. Even with a new air conditioner, the house is warm. We have double sliders in our family room and it gets quite hot during the day. First we tried it on sliders. As it was a large surface my husband and I had to apply it together. It took about an hour to make all 4 sliding doors. First of all I would like to say that measuring and cutting such an article should not be done by the consumer. Installation would also be 5-star if these sheets could be pre-cut as cutting is the only rant. If I had to do it all over again, I'd be the tallest and go through all four corners and into all the windows. I applied a white/opaque stripe along the bottom, then centered that stripe on top, top-bottom, and left the top as a transparent window. I only bought one roll of the smallest…
