🐠 Enhance Your Aquarium with the Kessil Tuna Blue A80 LED Light and Mini Gooseneck Review

I bought this setup to work on my Nuvo 10 Nano Reef. Instead of buying a Kessil controller, I opted for a TP-Link mini wifi jack with an app on my phone. the lamp is completely silent, ie it has no fan. maybe a little warm, but not bad. Corals open instantly 2 controlled knobs are ideal for adjusting the intensity and color spectrum. Scored it just perfect for my nano riff. shimmer is great!

Great nano light! If you are using 20 gallons or more I would recommend two instead of one. Only giving 4 stars just because the mini gooseneck never arrived, but I've contacted Revain and they're sending me a new light (hopefully with a flexible neck this time) and letting me keep another light! So two for the price of one. I will take him! Overall a great light for the price and works well with soft corals and LPS. Not recommended for ATP. And the shimmer effect is beautiful.

Terrible quality control. You sent me a used device. There was no packaging so the heavy light just bounced off the box leaving marks and dents. Also included were no screws to attach to the gooseneck. I've made hundreds of purchases from Revain and this is the worst packaging I've come across, especially for such an expensive device. Also research, the slight flicker was good, but the intensity was not enough, the image intensity was fully increased.

Pretty good light. I have a 2.5 liter tank. I had a bird's nest coral that faded in my large tank and thrives much better under this light. It has actually grown in the 6 months since I've put it in. **UPDATE** 7 months later and it was a reliable light with more than enough power for my setup and a nice shimmering effect. This rating is more for the experience. I have one of these lights and Kessil make a great product. I recently bought a flashlight and mount kit and the mount was the only one I got. One day I contacted customer service, they informed me that the only option was to return what I had. The item must be in the box and you must return it yourself by dropping off the package, cumbersome but ok. I will then receive a refund once the package has been dropped off. I purchased this coral grow light for a 10 gallon NUVO Innovative Marine Aquarium. The only corals in the aquarium are zoanthids. I immediately noticed the Zoas reaching for the light. I bought a Kessil controller to help with the spectrum and light cycle. I put it up and watched it for a week with no change in zoanthid behavior.
