🔥 Kester Solder 24-7068-1402 Solder Wire 217°C Review

This is very clean and works very well for small and medium sized businesses. I would recommend this Kester 275 solder to anyone with pure flux core and lead free solder!

Excellent Lot. However it is 3.3% 48 fluxed not 275. I thought it was 275 when I ordered it. Flux 48 is an activated rosin flux. 275 No pure rosin. Please see Rosin 275 if you work with highly sensitive equipment. Otherwise, Flux 48 is wet and easier to work with. According to the manufacturer's package insert, it is not clean and harmless for most insensitive devices.

Another great Kester product. Commercially available, high-quality solder. My husband bought this because he wanted to switch to lead free solder and this lead free product is perfect. It contains 96% tin and 3% silver with rosin flux. He tried replacing the capacitor and transistor in an old FM tuner and said everything went smoothly and the switch to lead-free solder was easy and hassle-free. Overall a great product that he highly recommends.
