Simply good hair care in hair care

I have used many purple shampoos and this one is right for me. I've used their shampoo and love it so my expectations were pretty high. I liked the smell but didn't feel like it lathered much without using a lot of product. I was able to leave it on my hair for a long time and it didn't turn blue which was nice. I've found this sometimes happens with purple shampoo. Overall I gave 4 stars. Not my favourite.

Fake Kevin Murphy is good for hair care

I've run out of this product and haven't had time to buy it at the salon I go to. This is not a genuine Kevin Murphy product. The label came off almost immediately and it doesn't look like a salon bought product I normally use on my hair. Hair appears dry and tangled. I also told my hair salon about this and they said that only salons can sell KM products and when buying online it is usually a counterfeit or diluted product. I do not recommend.

The best combo I've found for blonde hair!

Combined they do a great job of getting copper tones out of my hair. I hate even the slightest shade of orange/yellow in my hair to the point where I would prefer my hair to look ashy. They are way better than Aveda's Blue Mauva. Don't leave the conditioner on for too long or your hair will turn a pale purple, but even purple is better than copper for me! The only downside is that the containers leak a bit. I turn mine upside down so they don't leak. Update: The bottle doesn't leak around the…

Bad bottle design, stained douche solution!

This stuff smells great and I won't deny the benefits of purple shampoo for blondes but the bottles are so badly designed. It's so hard to get the change out of the bottles without making a mess. Not a big deal, except that the purple is so dark and pigmented that it smudges my seam. If you buy and use this you need to make sure you wash the entire shower at once otherwise the solution will turn light colored.

Pros
  • nice stuff
Cons
  • lots of stuff

Not the real deal. fingers crossed for shampoo and conditioner

I was wondering why it didn't smell as wonderful as it did in the salon so I asked my stylist. She said KM doesn't sell any products on Revain and what I received may have been mixed up with something else or was old. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but when you're spending that much money on a product, you expect to get the right thing. Just go to your salon and buy it - you might pay a few bucks more, but at least you know it's the real deal.

Cons
  • high price
