Cannot cut key to fit key inserts

Dealers do not need to cut a key to fit as they do not know the manufacturer's metal. It used to be that someone brought a wrench to cut metal that was too hard for their machine and the hammer broke.

Pros
  • No reprogramming required
Cons
  • Some cons

Can't cut key in key box

Dealers don't have to cut a matching key because they don't know the manufacturer's metal. It used to be that someone brought a wrench to cut metal that was too hard for their machine and the hammer broke.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Buy if your remote works and you know where to duplicate a key

I ordered this to replace my Honda Accord key as the remote worked on my old key , only the external part was broken. I believe the blade width was much larger so I chose not to use that.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Everything is fine
