I've had this key for 7 months and it's falling apart. The plastic case only broke during normal use. It's either in my pocket or in my car's ignition and it's falling apart. Even if they sent me a new one, the expensive part would be programming and cutting the key, so I'd still be losing $50. Don't listen to these negative reviews. I ordered this key for my Honda Ridgeline truck. ACE Hardware cut it for $20, then I programmed it, which was quick and easy (takes about 30 seconds). Look up the procedure on Utube for your car brand. So easy. A factory Honda key would cost around $50, and a Honda dealer will charge around $200 to program a new key (what an unnecessary rip off).
