I bought this a few months ago and use it almost every day, it makes very little noise, even on level #2 and I cut it off in a few places (even in the car when the air conditioning fan wasn't working on a couple of very hot days) and that's insanely useful. If you need to clean the blades (we have a bit of moisture and a lot of dust here, we live on a mostly muddy road) I can suggest cotton swabs with alcohol on them, just stick them right in between…

This product works great. It was pinned to the edge of my bedside table. It generates a decent amount of wind for its size and I enjoy its easy movement while trying to sleep. That works great. I even bought another one for my daughter.

I have a unique configuration and I'm used to having a small fan blowing on or near me when using my computer. This model replaces a 4 or 5 year old fan that was literally a small desktop fan that was downsized and USB powered. The mounts and angles possible with this fan are much easier to rotate and steer than the old one. Also, the fan is almost silent on low settings, which is what I use most of the time.
