KeySmart MagConnect Secure Attachment Titanium Review

I bought several of these for different sets of keys. I like that one side is feminine and the other is masculine. Unfortunately, not all females have negative (or positive) polarity. I had two wives, one was positive and the other was negative. Therefore no key exchange is possible as you can have a male and female both negative which would cause them to repel each other instead of being attracted to each other.

Great improvement over the plastic version. In the previous plastic version I bought, the neodymium magnet pulled out and I had to re-stick it a couple of times. Then the shell broke open at one end. But I still liked this product even when it was released. However, Keysmart has corrected these problems and offered a titanium version that is much stronger and more attractive than the previous one. I highly recommend this product and will buy it again.

This is a great product with a very strong magnet. I also have the plastic version and for some reason the magnet is at least three times stronger on this titanium version. The item itself is also much better, a bit heavier but appears to be much stronger and better quality. I use it as a key cutter so it's great for edc purposes. Great item for anything you want to detach from your keychain but still attach securely while it's there.

What I don't like is that it sticks to nearby ferrous metal. It is very embarrassing when a person has some steel parts on the keychain. And when a magnet is next to something made of steel, it can pick up anything it's attached to. IMHO the magnet is too strong. I should stop using it for now; I need to find titanium bits or aluminum (or other non-ferrous metal) "chains" to place the rig so the keys can hang in my pocket. An extremely useful key fob, especially when driving between two or more cars. The magnets are very strong and I have not had a single case where the keychain magnets have accidentally come loose. I like my KeySmart fob but I had a quick disconnect between my keys and my car keys and it doesn't last very long (it's too loose, to be reliable now).
