We like these covers because they are made from lovely food grade silicone, but that makes them very flimsy, difficult to clean and difficult to fold. I wish the vent was bigger because even when it's open it sticks to the glass top when you spin it in the microwave. Since it is not well ventilated, hot liquid collects in it. So when you take the lid off the plate a lot of liquid collects and it's HOT and will burn you if you're not careful. I wouldn't let younger kids handle it because of this

Pros: Silicone, BPA-free, large and wide enough to fit almost anything, no offensive smell. The handle is easy to lift and easy to hand wash (I haven't put it in the dishwasher yet). No problem so far, fits well in our rather small microwave and definitely keeps it clean (plus we no longer have to use paper towels to cover food, so less waste too, when they end up in the food).
