Charming and useful

This is a great bookshelf that is easy to assemble and of good quality. We have two (one with the primary colors shown here and one with natural color). They are great for books as it makes it easier to get books in and out compared to a shelf where the spines and covers stick together. If you are looking for a bookshelf for your child, buy one of these.

Stable and spacious shelf

I bought it a few years ago for my (then) 2 year old. He's six now and we still use that shelf. It's packed with books and contains a lot more than you think. I was skeptical at first, but was pleasantly surprised. Assembly was very easy and only took a few minutes. The only downside is that some of the larger books tend to lean forward, making it difficult to see the covers. We have the primary colors and they go well with his room which is mainly red, navy blue and brown. I will probably buyโ€ฆ

Great for the price, be careful when assembling.

Great for youngsters, small spaces as you can see half a foot under the doorknob. Can be wall mounted if desired. The fact is that the seams were different - still works, children may not notice. The assembly was a bit annoying because the screw broke the first time (thank god there is a spare screw). I recommend screwing in the screw, screwing in a bit before assembly, taking it out, and then putting the dowels in the space to finish. Walk gently. The screws are delicate. I hope my nephewโ€ฆ

Great quality for bookshelves, cabinets and shelving

Great for toddlers! I bought one of these about a year ago and it has held up well with 2 toddlers using it every day so I bought a second one to keep the books in my bedtime story room and it's the same quality. I'm a big fan of the fabric, it's durable and can hold many books of different sizes. The shelf hasn't fallen apart and is difficult to turn over due to the low center of gravity and wide base, but it's light enough that the kids could safely get out from under it if it were to tipโ€ฆ

Great but would like more

I really liked this bookshelf when I first got it 3 years ago. It was the perfect size for my then 1.5 year old. He liked that he could publish his own books. As he's gotten older and we have more books, I really wish he had more. Pros: - Easy for little kids to get books. - Durable - still great after 3 years even though the wood is pretty cheap. - Easy construction. :- You should arrange the books so that the slings hang correctly. We have a lot of books, probably more than we should be ableโ€ฆ

Great bookcase suitable for children's furniture

I bought this bookcase for my triplets for their first birthday. This bookshelf is so cute! Before they got this bookshelf, they had books everywhere, and now they even take them and put them back on the bookshelf. I was concerned that all three babies would ride over to the bookshelf and it would roll over onto them, but that didn't happen. It is very durable. The only negative I can say about this bookshelf is that it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it still has quite a fewโ€ฆ

Has a double seal of approval

Our twins love books and even more love taking them off the shelf! We needed something for our playroom that was strong enough that they wouldn't tip it over, but could still hold a lot of books. This bookshelf holds tons of cardboard books and will likely hold even more storybooks once the twins are old enough not to rip out the pages! Every day they come into their playroom and go to the bookshelf to pull out each book. They're not exactly delicate and I've never had a problem with them, even

Great shelf for kids!

I've read a few complaints about this bookshelf being underpowered or too small, but the good reviews encouraged me to try anyway. I personally love it and I think the main reason is that I use it for its main purpose - babies! It's not a bookshelf for your five or six year olds, but it's a great organizational tool for toddlers learning to clean up their mess. My 18 month old son loves to help me "clean up" the playroom by picking up his scattered books and putting them on the bookshelf - allโ€ฆ

A great addition to organize our play area!

I bought the basic color version (to match the basic color of the room) for my 14 month old daughter to keep her log book collection. pull them down and bring them back. ASSEMBLING It took me almost an hour to assemble this, with breaks for toddlers. I recommend unpacking the box out of the play area of small children due to the use of styrofoam. It breaks up into crumbs very easily. The instructions are pretty simple. You could use an extra hand when it comes to attaching the other side of the
