Crap. Nice idea but I figured they would contain useful hardware. Instead, they give you the cheapest screws man knows, and I unscrewed each one completely before going all the way through the wooden studs. And now I can't get them out to replace them with my screws that can't be completely removed. I've never been so angry assembling furniture. Users beware: USE YOUR EQUIPMENT

This bookcase arrived very quickly, within 3 days of purchase. I bought it for my daughter's room who will be born in May! It's a bit smaller than you'd think, but that's what I expected after reading the reviews. This is the perfect size for a baby/toddler. I would say it holds 25 to 35 books depending on the size of the books. My fiancee assembled it in 20 minutes. Very satisfied with the quality at the low price!

I bought this because the canvas panels are good quality and durable, better than the clear panels on cheap wraps. Screws really aren't for solid wood and only work well in chipboard. If you don't insert the screws perfectly straight into the anchor holes, you'll rip them off. If you have a screw that requires too much force, unscrew it and try again, or take a drill and enlarge the hole a little.

We have already purchased a KidKraft Vintage Kitchen and KidCraft Step Stool and I am still very impressed with their quality. This bookshelf is no exception. As my daughter has transitioned to paper books and independent reading, this bookshelf is a great way to let her browse and select her own books without just looking at the spine. In addition, the quality will be excellent and the fabric is very durable. Great purchase from KidKraft!

Very cute and really holds a lot of books. I have tons for my little one and although they didn't all fit in, I managed to get seven Dr. Seuss books back to back in a row (second photo). The only problem was that the two screws wouldn't go in. and their tops were torn off. I had to ask my husband to use them for me, which luckily he could, but it was hard enough that I just couldn't! But the rest went well. If you are small, you need a power tool.

This is a very cute bookcase so I was so glad I bought it for my girls room. But the product looks like it has been used or something. I'm sure it was not damaged in transit as the box was in excellent condition and was very carefully packed with lots of foam. The fabric is the only thing that doesn't look damaged or used. I have purchased other Kidcraft items with no problems. It has many blemishes, scratches and damage. Unfortunately this was for a playroom that wasn't finished yet. So I came back 10 days late. :( Most frustratingly we have covered up some of the imperfections with matte white paint or maybe whitewash to make them aware of the imperfections.
