Good kids building table

I bought this table for my 3 year old grandson and his Lego. It was easy to put together and I love that the table top is double sided, covering a large space for storing lots of lego. Durability rating 3 stars because the lego legs of the table top (there are 4 pieces glued on one side of the table top) were slightly warped and the corners in the middle where the 4 legs meet were slightly chipped. It could be bad glue or a warped countertop. I'm sure it will fit my grandson but I had to super…

Pros
  • Rounded corners for safety
Cons
  • Almost everything included

So small and not functional!

Too small for a Lego table! It is so tiny that it could be considered a small coffee table. My kindergarten kids couldn't even sit with chairs - they had to kneel. My biggest issue with this micro table is the storage underneath. You can't get to Lego without removing the top, which will always spill your project all over the floor unless it's 100% connected to the Lego board. Terrible! The box on the Lego table should be retractable or easily accessible. This table is poorly designed and I now

Pros
  • Complete with step-by-step instructions
Cons
  • Functionality

The parts aren't designed properly so the parts don't fit properly

I thought a few people who were unhappy with this got a bad product out of sheer luck, but it's true... Because it so is design is perfect, i can't build the table properly. It's hard to see in the picture, but the grooves don't line up, so the pieces of wood can't slide properly and the other pieces can't fit tightly together. I thought that a few people who were unhappy with it accidentally got a bad product. , but it's true... Since the design is perfect, I can't assemble the table properly.

Pros
  • Difficulty: Beginner

Lego! Lego is everywhere!

I bought this table for my son (7 years old but 6 years old and weighs 6 years old) for Christmas. I was about to step on his Legos (they were Every. Freaking. Where.) but I also wanted to help spark his desire to be an engineer when he grows up. It seemed like the perfect way to achieve both. I went through TAAAAAAAAA many styles but settled on this one.) It was very easy to build. I built the whole thing myself in less than 30 minutes with no additional tools other than those included in the…

Not practical at all. Too expensive.

Not a big fan of this table. If there was a way to keep the top attached but lift it off the table to grab the lego inside that would be cool. Or if the storage space were drawers instead of what it is. Our dilemma is that our son wants to build on top of a lego table but he has to take the top off to get the pieces so the table top ends up on the floor and what's the point of buying him a lego table if he does that just plays on the floor anyway?! Especially one that is disproportionately…

Could have been a good table if the quality of delivery was better.

Supplied in a ripped open box that was barely taped together. The instruction manual was dry but clearly wet beforehand, the paper became stiff and the pages stuck together. This was disappointing as the item was 'new'. It was clearly returned and they didn't check it properly. It had damage in 3 places where the wood was scratched to expose the plywood on the edges. The fringe on the legs was also of poor quality in appearance (a small gap). It was easy to assemble. The standard Legos it came…

Pros
  • Smart, durable construction
Cons
  • No insurance

Great looking table Solid NOT AUTHENTIC LEGO BASES

Overall I am very happy with his table. Very easy to assemble, easy to follow instructions and looks great. It's not big enough for a toddler to pull up a chair and put their feet under, but it's perfect for sitting on the floor and playing. It looks very nice and seems to stand the test of time. The only negative I can see is pretty much what everyone else has said which is that the boards above are not Lego baseplates but generic brand. I've tried different lego pieces, most fit and some…
