Description of 🖱️ KINESIS DXT2 RF Wireless Ergonomic Vertical Mouse

ERGONOMIC VERTICAL MOUSE: Designed by leading physiotherapists in the UK, the DXT was engineered to promote a neutral, more vertical wrist posture while allowing the hand to work with a light touch fingertip hold providing precision cursor control. CONVENIENT AND RELIABLE WIRELESS CONNECTION: Connect the compact RF dongle to an available USB port on your computer for quick and easy pairing. FINGER TIP GRIP INCREASES PRECISION: Unlike other vertical mice, the DXT 2 is held like a pen in the “precision” grip which engages the small muscles and joints of the fingers as opposed to large muscle groups of the shoulder. IDEAL FOR RIGHT AND LEFT HANDERS: Switch instantly between right and left handed use with the tap of a button. No changes to button-assignments in the operating system are required. AMAZING BATTERY LIFE AND CHARGING PERFORMANCE: The integrated, rechargeable lithium-ion is engineered to last for 2 weeks on a full charge, and the rapid charge system allows 2+ hours of use with a mere 30 seconds of charging.

It could be great.

Pros: 1. More comfortable on the wrist for everyday use than a regular mouse2. Long battery life3. Can be used when charging4. Cheaper than others (at least when I bought it) Cons: 1. The scroll wheel started to fail after less than a year of use. Sometimes it scrolls in the wrong direction and it's very annoying. The areas your fingers touch have already started to noticeably wear out and you may feel that the surface is a bit worn. He's just too big. He shouldn't be that big. It will bang off

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

I really wanted to like this mouse - I would like to have .

I really wished for this mouse - I wish I had a mouse that I could move like a pen (maybe a fat one) and that seems to have done the trick but ended up giving it back. Pros: • Small enough to use fingers instead of hands. • Configurable for right and left handed users. The wheel is perfectly horizontal to suit both right- and left-handed users, but when I grabbed it my fingers were angled downwards, making it awkward to use. (see image) • On a Mac running Sierra, scrolling was jerky and…

Great mouse - terrible charging port

I've been using Kinesis products for over 8 years. Their vertical mouse is everything they claim: a perfectly slim size that moves with minimal wrist (NOT shoulder) movement, tracking on all surfaces, easy-to-use buttons and speed and scroll adjustments, and long battery life. As a pain and injury specialist, I have recommended the Kinesis Upright Mouse and Kinesis Freestyle Keyboard (two-piece) to many clients. However, my biggest complaint is that charging is difficult due to the lack of…

Love this mouse!: Computers & Accessories

I love this new mouse. The learning/adaptation curve is not bad at all. I had a sprained wrist with probably a mixture of tendonitis. It definitely helps. It's not a miracle cure, but it definitely helps me recover from pain and I'm sure I'll be 100% back in the next few weeks. I think the only thing that confuses me is that the mouse turns off automatically. turned off to save battery. So if I pause for too long I'll have to click and risk clicking something on reactivation. I was a little…

Make time for the keyboard, mice and accessories.

This mouse should only be operated with the fingertips. Your fingers should be roughly in the middle of the mouse. Clicking there is easiest, and holding the mouse there offers the most mobility. At first I wasn't sure about this mouse. After the first day I thought about sending it back. Using this mouse is very different from using other mice and will take some time to get used to. My biggest problem initially was that when I clicked or scrolled, I moved the mouse because it had to apply…

Attention Developers **Updated**

I'm a drawing teacher and I've had this mouse for a little over a year and it never leaves my desktop. Bought from a regular mouse due to carpal tunnel issues and after trying different types of mice. I really liked the comfort of this mouse. I've had occasional slight numbness in my pinky and palm when using it for long periods of time, but nothing close to the debilitating pain felt when using a traditional mouse, more of a minor discomfort. This suggests that I expect a little more than an…

Super ergonomic mouse after setup

I love this mouse. I took off a star because the first one I bought (on the DXT website) took about 9 months, for the money I wanted at least 2 years. Then I bought a vertical mouse from Anker, much cheaper and I could throw it away if it broke too quickly. Unfortunately, I got pain in my hand, so I bought an original DXT mouse. Then I bought a HandShoe mouse. It was really comfortable but lacked the precise movements I needed for my work. Sooooooooo, I'm getting my second DXT. It allows very…
