I think it's a good investment, my 4 year old plays with it almost every day. He finds it incredibly exciting how you can do so many different things with these tools. It also distracts him for a while, perfect for fine motor skills practice. I often join, adults have fun too :) The quality is excellent. I tried the unbranded one once, it didn't hold up as well as kinetic sand. My favorite place? THEY DON'T DRY! They've been out a long time and they're still good. You will need to find your own

UPDATE - I am changing my rating after a communication from the company. They couldn't replace the broken twister but offered a different product and free sand as a replacement. They tried to fix everything and asked if I would agree to a replacement. I agreed and feel they deserve a new review.
