Excellent long range antenna

We have replaced the old (2011) Batwing antenna on the fifth wheel. Now we get a much stronger signal - twice as much as in the same place. We installed it ourselves and the installation was pretty easy.

Returned in Accessories & Consumables

I was so excited. I removed the stock antenna, prepared the mounting location and found that it cannot be placed on the roof of your RV if the tilt angle is greater than 3 degrees. I had 7 degrees. I called King Jack and they confirmed the tilt angle is no more than 3 degrees. I wish it was highlighted in the description. I had to return it.

No improvement! in Antennas

I replaced a retractable Winegard antenna that I believe was in our 2012 trailer. I was looking for an antenna that didn't need to be unscrewed (because I didn't want to be afraid of forgetting to unscrew it) and something that would give better reception. I thought I had done the research and would be pleased with the results. It's not like this. I like that it's easier to use, but I've never lit more than 2 or 4 lights on the receiver's display. I had more transmitters in my driveway with the

Adequate content in antennas

I had a problem initially when I realized the unit required 12vdc from a cable box which I didn't have so I called King and they said I could have 12 Buy V DC power supply from King for a small fee. It only took me a few days to get 12V DC, but when I plugged in 12V DC the device still didn't work. Then I pulled out my trusty multimeter to check that the 12V DC power supply was faulty and not producing any power at all. I then called King to send a replacement 12V DC power supply. After…

Product works well, well finished

Product works well, well finished, in my class A van for a few weeks. However, I am a bit disappointed with its performance. Notice where I parked my RV, the antenna is at maximum distance and this royal antenna is not a signal booster. My old bat antenna parked in the same spot had better reception than the King I bought. This may be because my old batwing antenna has a higher profile when raised. The antenna works well when approaching civilization and clearly lets through a lot of channels…
