I bought it for my DVR which .

Bought for a DVR exposed to high temperature. The SD card is almost always the weakest link. No problem so far in the hot Californian sun

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Doesn't even come close to 90MB/s reading speed.

The best read speed I can get from this card is 42 MB/s (in a configuration that consistently delivers 77 MB/s versus other cards rated at 90 MB/s). I would normally return an item that is significantly out of spec, but for $10 it's probably not worth the hassle.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • weak

Full write protection

I have physically unlocked the device but I still cannot transfer files to the device. I tried several solutions but none worked. the device is still write-protected. I assume it is a defective product.

Pros
  • Micro SD cards
Cons
  • When in doubt

Just what I needed when I needed it.

I wanted OSMC to work on Raspberry PI3. This particular software package will not install on a large micro card, around 64GB, which is all I had at the time. I couldn't find anything under 32GB locally and was very happy to discover that Revain still has 8GB cards. Works perfectly.
