Want cheap memory? in memory cards

I got a Roku not long ago and realized it didn't have enough room for the channels I was adding to it. It will still work, but a bit slower than I thought as it basically has to re-download channels that don't fit in Roku's tiny memory. So I settled on one of these and no doubt Roku loaded the channels in no time. Do you need it? Probably no. It saves a few seconds of your life, but considering how cheap this micro SD card was, it was worth it. Arrived in excellent condition and was well…

Good cards for most uses

Since the advent of SD cards I've used cards from at least half a dozen different manufacturers. for really important things like photos, personal videos i prefer more expensive cards, so to speak. It shows that these cards are great for purposes like our external cameras! I've never had a bad Kingston card, but as I use it when one fails I know immediately because of the video feed. Given the price, I still find them very valuable even though I've only been using them for a few years, but like

Attention, lifetime guarantee.

The device has been working reliably for 16 months. However, it stopped working a few weeks ago. When I submitted an RMA, Kingston only did so after I shipped the card back to them first. I went through an RMA with them over the phone but didn't realize I should send their defective unit back first. .I know Kingston is a reputable company but in previous transactions with Kingston where I have had to return something I have never received a replacement after returning the item (of course that…

Pros
  • Reliable - lifetime guarantee
Cons
  • Hard to say

I have this card Purchased specifically for use in Garmin Oregon Portable GPS. It's Class IV, so it's not a lightning-fast performer in terms of speed, and is probably best suited for "static" data applications like storing MP3 music in a media player or cellphone, or maps in a GPS (which is what I use it for bought). By "static" I mean applications where the device is basically just reading data, not writing it. This card also works well with smaller or older digital cameras of 12 megapixels…

Pros
  • Compatible - SD specification version 2.00 (class 4) and SD specification version 3.00 (class 10)
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
