Extended battery life of my camera.

Bought a pair of these memory cards for a 2 week trip to Italy to use in a Pentax Optio SV camera. I also bought an extra battery. Well, I forgot my charger, so I had two full batteries and two flash memory cards for a full two weeks. Surprisingly, my first battery lasted 11 days, over 200 shots. It's MUCH longer than before with the 256MB card I had (can't remember the brand). And it was on my old battery so I know the only change was in that memory card. I never thought it was like this. And…

Incompatible and slow

I bought this Kingston 2GB SD card for my Archos 405 portable media player but the player won't read it. It doesn't even recognize it and when I go to the file manager it freezes. I also bought two Kingston 1GB microSD cards with SD adapters and neither of them work with the Archos 405. At first I thought it was a media player but I got it with my old 128MB SD Tried the card I have and it works great. I don't blame the cards, they all work great with my Kodak camera and microSD cards work great

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

good expansion memory for TomTom GO 720 GPS Navigator

I chose this card because it was not the high speed I needed as expansion memory for my GPS Navigator (TomTom GO 720). Other TomTom users have had issues with this unit and differently configured SD cards; Some report that high speed cards or 4GB cards do not work. This 2GB module worked great the first time I formatted it on a FAT32 PC. TomTom found it and found the data on it with no problems. A tip for TomTom users: TomTom only recognized my MP3s on the SD card after I deleted all MP3s from…

Great for my purpose

I can't write a technical review of the Kingston flash card as I don't use it for anything that really requires a level of performance that definitely sets it apart from most other cards. I needed extra space on my Kindle e-reader, Kingston appears in the Kindle Store search, it was a great price, good size and I got it. I've been able to transfer books between the Kindle and the card and back with no problem (which probably says more about the Kindle than the card), but I've never had any data

Kingston 2GB SD Card / Excellent Product / Schematic Software

I have been using a 2GB card for music on my Palm T/X for several months and have never used an SD card before . but find it just as fast as native memory. Of course, I don't run programs from it, just memory. I think it's a pretty good deal at $35 with shipping and all through Revain (I forgot the real seller). Plenty of space for photos, music, data etc. It was a lot cheaper than many similar products. I am very happy with it. The only thing I would wish for in this card specific software for

These things just work! No surprises

I've been using SanDisk and Kingston SD flash cards for a number of years. Some out of band products are cheaply made and I don't recommend them. But as for these SanDisk and Kingston-branded cameras (provided you buy the real one and not a knock-off from some irreverent online store), you'll be happy. in photo frames, GPS navigators, phones, etc. Speed is not usually an issue when it comes to writing images onto cards. But when you need to copy those images from your camera (or your reader) to
