After trying this firmer chisel with a hornbeam handle, I'm impressed by its durability and precision. It's well-balanced and comfortable to hold, making it a go-to tool for all my woodcarving needs. The Hornbeam handle provides a good grip that doesn't slip. This tool is perfect for any prospective buyer who is seeking a durable and reliable wood chisel. Although the price may seem high, the quality justifies it. It's perfect for any woodworker who takes pride in their work. Highly recommended
Pros
Sturdy and durable handle made of high-quality hornbeam wood.
Cons
The handle may splinter or crack over time with heavy use.
This is the best chisel I have. This requires a sharp edge, and I carved hard maple and black walnut with ease. The edge lasts for several hours after several passes over the whetstone. It was already my favorite instrument for two bowls and two maple chairs.
Two Cherries points, sharpened and ready to use. They are so sharp and undamaged that cutting with them requires very little pressure to get good results, reducing stress on your wrists. The price is worth it - looking forward to the 1-1/2" model.
