Kissmart® Mobile Charging Microsoft Surface Review

When I first connected this cable to my surface, I saw smoke coming out of the cable and quickly pulled it out. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the cable started to melt as soon as I connected it. The cable must be made of inferior material. Thank god I was there to get him out before he did any more damage.

I've used them on systems I've built at work, including a Surface Pro tablet, and had two or more failures where the connector suddenly decided to melt. Not impressed.

Great product. This product works. The first one I got didn't work. The seller sent a new one, works great. You apologized and did the right thing. I will not hesitate to buy from this seller again.

shows "connected but not loaded". I checked the power source by charging other devices through it and plugging it back in. Surface Pro 1 restarted and still just connects. does not load.

The first Surface Pro DC charging cable I've used that isn't annoying. I've tried two other brands of cable like this before, the first broke and the second only charges when connected to my battery in a certain way which is annoying, although this cable works great for me and I'm very happy so far am with it.

Bought for Surface 2. Not a professional. Since the Surface 2's power supply is proprietary and Microsoft doesn't offer any other power supply, I decided to use a travel power supply.
