I've had them for about 6 weeks and I LOVE them. It has 2 separate auto start times, you can set the stove timer or the heater, all easily customizable to individual preferences. It makes both ground and freshly ground coffee, I hardly ever spill when pouring from a full pot (I usually have trouble with spills). It tells you when it needs cleaning, it's easy to clean. I honestly have nothing negative to say at all.

It appears to be an excellent coffee maker with one major flaw. If the coffee maker switches off at the end of its time cycle or is switched off (or is briefly unplugged to move it) it cannot be switched on again. The only way to turn it back on is to refill the tank with water and start over. Every now and then we want to heat up a partially filled coffee pot or turn it back on after leaving the house for a short time, but we can't.

I have owned 2 different KitchenAid coffee makers in the past so I was confident in purchasing these. Disappointed is the only way I can honestly describe my experience. It takes 20 minutes to make a 10 cup pot instead of the 10 it took to do the same job with my old pot. The carafe flows well when you pour fast, but leaks all over the place if you don't pour at the right speed. The coffee pot is bulky and looks a lot like my kitchen faucet. lol. My husband liked it so I left it. I waited over a month of daily use before writing a review. This is a great machine that produces delicious coffee and is easy to use. I love that I can keep my coffee hot for 4 hours and it's just as hot as when it was first brewed. The bold feature works well and allows you to make the pot stronger than normal.
