I thought the peeler was a peeler. No, I was wrong. I think I've had blunt scissors my entire life. I love roasting potatoes and sweet potatoes, but hate peeling sweet potatoes. It took forever. I love the kitchenaid brand and wish my granddaughter could use something similar to what her mom has at home! (She's 3 1/2) Although I'm used to a different style, I was able to appreciate this one too. I can't wait for her to come back and help me peel my carrots!

I bought this peeler for myself and a Aqua Sky KitchenAid European Peeler for my husband. I needed something handier because I always had trouble with a standard knife. When I saw this Y-Peeler I wanted to buy it. I've never seen one like this and can't believe I haven't owned one in all these years. Peeling potatoes and other veggies is so much easier, less time consuming, and less dangerous that I can safely say this is a must have in any kitchen.
