We gave our 3 year old daughter a 20" taller cat who will be her sweet bedfellow and she loves it. This is just the right size for baby to cuddle and cuddle as shown in the picture. Very soft, soft and cute. I had to add some extra padding because it was looking a bit flimsy, luckily I already had a pack of polyfill so I could stuff it even more. Unfortunately, the vacuum packaging initially makes incredible creases. I'm not sure how long the smoothing will last, so I'm not sure how "gift" it is initially, you should open it up and try to get rid of those wrinkles in advance. And yet it's ridiculously cute. Plush is very cute and soft; HOWEVER it is NOT 20 inches long as described. I measured it and it's only 17 inches (bottom view) to 18 inches (top view) long (see attached photos). I fluffed the plush and everything and that's as long as it could. 2-3" (which is a lot) shorter than the description. Based on the smaller size at that price we probably wouldn't have bought it and opted for Target's 20" Squishmallow which is just as soft, much larger and cheaper. When I first met my now boyfriend, I gave him a little white plush cat and he named it Rufis, he loves it. We both love sweet things.
