I have had cats for 25 years but I have never had a kitten under 5.5 months. So it was an adventure! Unfortunately this book is unusable. Thanks for the great vets. and willingness to ask EVERYTHING 🙂

Like most books for dummies, this book is fun to read, easy to digest, and organized so I can use it how I like hold correctly - to a reference manual. It covers all the basics of finding, owning and raising a kitten, from choosing the cat to buying the litter.

This is a very useful book and I have bought several copies over the years for friends who have found and adopted kittens. And here there is useful information even for experienced kitten rescuers. It's never too late to learn anything, especially something as important and useful as saving animals. Highly recommended.

A must have for foster parents and cat rescuers. There are literally 50 shades of cat poop, and each has its own meaning. All kitties aside ;) This book covers everything from bottle feeding to weaning. If you're a new care or rescue worker (if you're not, consider becoming one!) this will be a life-saving resource for you and the kittens.

Very impressive content. Everything you need to know about a dummy like me who decided to have not just one kitten but two! They helped me a lot to calm down quickly and enjoy each other's company. Very easy to read, not a long grandma story, but the writing style is intimate and engaging. I skimmed the chapters with ease as some of them are irrelevant to me and others are my personal reading priorities.

Kittens are not as simple as taking a kitten from the litter, bringing them home and living happily ever after. I have previous experience with an older cat I rescued from a local shelter, but the lessons I learned with Louie the older cat didn't go into small details like how to behave.
