Love it! My kitty misses this and can play with it alone when no one is home. I hung some of her toys in the middle so that a few items dangle. Can't beat the price!

I have bought a lot of toys for my cat over the past 6 months. That was the first thing she loved. When I wake up in the morning she scratches it and plays the bell. When I get home from work she sleeps on it. She's a little aggressive when playing with her toys, so we'll see how long that lasts. So far it has earned all 5 stars.

I bought this item on sale at a pet store a year ago. Although I am a seasoned DIY enthusiast this item was difficult to assemble, was unbalanced and my kitty played with it for less than an hour (at the time). Unlike other reviewers, the ball didn't come loose and my kitty didn't want to play with it either. She just played with the ball lying in the green tube on the side and she got bored of that very quickly too.

This is the second item I have bought and it is not as well made as the one I bought two years ago. Within two days, the burlap covering the swing area came loose in many places. The rail mounting holes were also slightly offset, making the unit much more difficult to assemble and hold together. Having bought and assembled one two years ago I know what it should be like, but it wasn't. Very disappointed (and so are my kittens!).
