Good chin strap, works with metal fiber

Just to point out that it snaps right into the fiber metal helmet with Super 8 suspension. Very happy with it. Helps put my hat on when I'm in the elevator or wear a balaclava when it's cold.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Worth the money - safety

Good chin strap goes well with a hard hat not to lose it whether on an adventure or on a construction site and I will be in a strange position I would like a thicker one Chin pads see but as a bearded man it's hard to see that it can get good over time

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

It's more comfortable than you think

Most Americans hate chin straps on their helmets, but in a fall from a height the helmet usually falls off first. If you hit the ground or fall off a swing, your head is still protected when using the chin strap. If the fall is from a very great height, at least a helmet will help identify the body and you may still be able to have an open-coffin burial. Hate me if you want, but I don't care. I worked with a student whose helmet fell off seven times in two hours. Half of all helmets are not…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin
