Don't buy this! for deodorants and antiperspirants

They don't go out of my jackets! I would never buy them again. When I called the "Home Office" they told me to try Goo Gone and Rubbing Alcohol. I can't use Goo Gone as these jackets can only be dry cleaned. Neither rubbing alcohol nor nail polish remover helped. If you buy them, which I don't recommend (buy Garment Guards from Fashion First Aid), test them on an item first.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Very expensive

Can't remove

I don't know if it's a bad batch or what but I can't get the glue off my jacket lining at all. Even the dry cleaners couldn't move. I'm thinking about trying a hair dryer or steamer, but I'm afraid to mess with it any further. The outer film peeled off when I tried to remove it, leaving glue with paper attached to it. I should have stopped there but I kept tinkering with it and now there is a large amount of sticky glue all over the underarm area which is effectively ruining the suit.

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • too stupid

Not recommended - ruined clothing

While this product has done its job well, it is not worth removing. As you can see from the photos, the patch's adhesive was stuck to my shirt when I took it off. It took a while for the padding to loosen, leaving my blazer in a complete mess. I took it to the dry cleaner and they couldn't remove the adhesive. I do not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Not actually glued

You can see the sticky parts of the stick through thinner materials. And they didn't go anywhere :/ After a few hours I noticed a small pillow sticking out of the sleeve of my t-shirt. I was embarrassed. Maybe the adhesive part needs to be reinvented. Maybe because I wear fitted shirts?

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

They do the job: Personal care

It takes a few tries to stick them on your shirt, but once you know where you sweat and where to apply them, they work great. You're still sweating and you still feel like you're sweating, but it's not visible from the outside of the shirt.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Quality

Not for people with hyperhidrosis

They worked well but for people who sweat a lot the sweat just drips down the pads making weird wet rings. We even tried duplicating the pads, one on each armpit of a tank top and one on each armpit of a dress shirt, but they still failed. I really don't feel like they sweated at all. Very sad because I wanted them to work so badly.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Finally! It really works!

I didn't have much faith when I saw what looked like panty liners, but these baddies work. All day I was paranoid that it wasn't working and that I was sweating through my blouse, but no, my armpits were wet and my blouse was dry. They are amazing, be sure to buy a few packs - they save lives! The only downside was that because they're so thin (which is what you want) they tend to shift and bunch up if you move around a lot. Otherwise you can't go wrong and I will buy it again.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great article! Personal Care

I LOVE these armpit shields! You are really wonderful. They keep me dry, help with BW (let's face it, that happens from time to time) and are actually comfortable. I found them very easy to put on and take off. Currently. some components. I bought these to "stretch" my clothes on a 30 day trip to Europe where only one small suitcase is allowed. It has helped me get at least two pieces of clothing off my tops before they needed a wash. They were easy to put on IF YOU THINK NOT TO WASTE YOUR…

  • Beauty and Personal Care
