Immersive Sound Experience with Klipsch RP-450C Center Channel Speaker - Cherry Review

You can distinguish the sound quality of this speaker from other speakers (Reference & Synergy Center Speaker). it takes some getting used to hearing the output sound. Very clear and loud. If you can expand your budget, do so.

This thing DOES IT! Three-way speaker with clear, loud sound. However, it is very big. I didn't pay attention to the measurements and was amazed at the size when it arrived. It takes up most of the surface of my TV cabinet. Not a problem as the TV hangs on the wall above the stand, but check the dimensions before ordering.

I replaced my old 5.1 system with this 9.2 setup. I am very satisfied with all speakers. My 30-year-old speakers were paradigms. There's nothing wrong with them, I just wanted something new and updated. The 450C is really crisp, as are the other Klipschs that are in the setup. Clear sound at any volume, you can't go wrong. CONS: Klipsch didn't offer the satellite speaker I was looking for, so the SVS fit the bill.

In the last minute of building I had a feeling that the klipsch I had for the center channel would be too small for a 13 inch screen so I have it ordered. It's ideal for using the center channel of a screen of this size. It's behind the center of the screen and there's no localization. Full sound spectrum including rich sound effects and music. Stick with a dark grille and put black tape over the glossy logo or you'll be able to see it through the screen's micro-perforations.

I needed to upgrade my center channel with something that could handle the power of my new receiver. This 450 did just that. Clean looks, clean sound, fits in my office like it was made for it. And as soon as I set the crossovers to the right frequency, there are new sounds that I didn't hear in my previous center channel. The speaker sounds great! It was larger than I thought and fitting into the space I planned was marginal. Luckily I had another place and I am completely satisfied. The speaker is not only quite large, especially in depth, but also quite heavy. To make sure the speaker didn't fall off the wall, I ended up buying mounting brackets to hold the speaker.
