💡 White KMC 6-Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip 2-Pack with Overload Protection, 4-Foot Cord, 900 Joule Rating Review

After a year of being plugged into an outlet. The outlet burned out and the cord corroded. I've never had a surge protector for that. Do not buy.

Both units failed the first weekend after purchase, my timers burned out, 2 floor fans blew out and one of the band's power supplies melted and caught fire. I want my money back and compensation for damaged devices.

This product was great. During a year. I got this for my new apartment last July. I always try not to fill more than half the sockets at a time to avoid overloading and last night it just stopped working. I thought my laptop charger cord was broken until I tried turning the lamp on and then realized it was a strip! Does not work on other outlets in the room. No surge protection click worked, just died suddenly. Considering the price I'm glad it lasted a year but shouldn't it have lasted longer?

No complaints about this overvoltage protection. I love the black color and it works exactly as you would expect. Two packs are really cheap. I use them with several PC computer setups and can't think of anything negative about them. I've seen fancier/more expensive surge protectors that have childproofing features that cover unused outlets. Since I have no children, I am not interested in this function.
