Links are the wrong size.

Either the latch is too small or the latch is too tall. In my video, with the hood down, the latch goes under the latch and doesn't latch. This is for 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU.

The locking mechanism is very cheap

Overall good quality, easy to fit but the little nipple that attaches to the bonnet is very cheap and you can just pull and release the bonnet latch not recommended bad poor design of the latch mechanism

Good looking but.: Air Scoops and Intakes

They're good and all, but just pull the handle hard enough and the lock opens instantly. The strike plate is too small to offer any real security. Don't get me wrong - they're good and I like the more powerful look, but if someone wants to break into your engine bay, that won't stop them.

An absolutely terrible product.

This is just terrible and a waste of money. I installed it on my jeep which was very easy but I pulled the latch to see how hard it was to open once it was latched and it took me absolutely no effort to open. Cheap metal inside, cheap barrel keys. Would never recommend buying these. They don't make your jeep any more secure than factory locks. Terrible product.

Dangerous! Made no worse than factory locks.

It would be nice if there were locks or they made it so cheap! The locking mechanism is cheaply made and does not deter theft. The screws are pressed into the top part and there is nothing else to fasten them so they can be easily pulled out when tightening. I was driving 70mph on a windy day on the freeway, both latches broke and the hood popped open! It could have been awful!
