Unreliable computer accessories and peripherals product

This product sometimes does not work. I've never seen anything like this in a card reader. It almost scares you when it doesn't work as you are not sure if it accidentally deleted all your photos or if the photos are still there. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. I know Kodak as a reliable brand and I am ashamed that a product like this is branded. I've had many cheap, unbranded card readers bought from regular street stores when I forgot my trusty card reader and never saw this…

Computer Accessories & Peripherals Card Cannot Insert

When I tried to insert a CompactFlash card for the first time, it wouldn't go in. I checked the pins in the card reader, a few were bent. I've tried straightening them, but the area is so narrow it's almost impossible. Even after thinking they looked lined up, I was still able to plug in a card reader and a few pins were bent again. I have another card reader that inserts the card more than halfway into the reader, which helps align the card properly. I bought this as a present for a friend. As

Works perfectly. Once.

When I first connected it to my Macbook Pro to transfer pictures from a CF card, it worked great. Strangely, when I put the CF card back into the camera, the camera didn't recognize the card. It turned out that the pins damaged the card when I took it out. Some of the pins were bent, and the intact ones were jagged now, some deeper than others. I tried to use the xD card but the computer didn't recognize it. Tried on my wife's Dell but still no luck. Luckily I have a spare that works great but…

Works with iPad and Camera Connection Kit!

This card reader looks huge so I figured the CF card would spend most of its length in the slot. Oddly enough, it hardly penetrates 1/4 inch into the slot, leaving most of the reader body occupying empty space. The benefit of a deep slot is that you get a better feel for card alignment on the card guides, reducing the chance of a bent pin. Unfortunately, another Kodak opportunity was missed. Coincidentally, however, this card is compatible with Apple's Camera Connection Kit, allowing me to…

great reader in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I bought mine from seller greatdealsonus This is a great reader. VERY EASY TO USE! I bought a smaller one and used it a few times before the contacts bent. It wasn't easy to put my 128MB CFD card in it. It really only had side guides for inserting the card, which I don't have (lack of better words to describe) the surrounding surface that would be large enough to guide the card straight every time THIS Kodak 50-in-1 card reader HAS! I need a card reader for my old camera because my laptop…
