Review on Kodak 50 In 1 Card Reader Black by Ashley Gauthier

This card reader looks huge so I figured the CF card would spend most of its length in the slot. Oddly enough, it hardly penetrates 1/4 inch into the slot, leaving most of the reader body occupying empty space. The benefit of a deep slot is that you get a better feel for card alignment on the card guides, reducing the chance of a bent pin. Unfortunately, another Kodak opportunity was missed. Coincidentally, however, this card is compatible with Apple's Camera Connection Kit, allowing me to upload Canon RAW images from CF cards to my iPad 2. So yes, I have to align the card carefully. but this damn thing works with my ipad and i'm happy camping. Other CF readers I tried didn't work. And it works great with my Macs too. No drivers or special apps are required for iPad or Mac.
