Flash doesn't work

My 10 year old daughter saved and saved to buy this camera. About two weeks after we got it we found out that the flash didn't work and probably never did (she was taking pictures outside when she first got it). I spoke to Kodak online and now I need to send the camera in for repair. Very, very disappointed in Kodak. I expected more from this company. A google search showed me that this is an issue that other users of this camera have experienced.

Kodak Easy Share lives up to its name

I bought this camera for my autistic son to use when traveling. After spending a day photographing each other, he learned how to use it. Teaching him how to put his photos into the computer was easy. His internet connection was a bit lacking so I couldn't set him up to post his photos directly to Facebook, but I didn't buy the camera for that reason. It matched his rating. I have owned several Kodaks over the years and bought this camera on behalf of . I was not disappointed.

Can't use batteries :-(

The camera seems to be good, especially for the price. Problems: - When in "Smart Capture" mode, there is no fill flash. This is not a problem, it says "You need to read the manual", but again it doesn't seem smart enough to use fill flash. - 1.3 volts would mean the battery is almost dead. Batteries are NORMAL 1.3V, so they don't work. Even new alkaline 1.55-1.6 volt batteries are eaten like piñata candy. Can only be returned for that. I hate using non-rechargeable ones, especially if it means

Kodak Camera Green

I LOVE THIS CAMERA! I have several other Kodak cameras and they are as good as the Kodak name. I can put this little camera in my purse and take pictures whenever I want. Received it just in time for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday and was thrilled to be able to take loads of Kodak memories with me. I also love the video function, as I did with my other digital camera, and was able to capture the entire birthday cake scene. Also, using AA batteries is wonderful. I am using the batteries that…

Decent camera, best in category digital cameras

I bought this camera at a great price. i love color I read other reviews and was skeptical but I'm glad I bought it! The screen is big and very bright. There are so many different shooting options like fireworks option, self portrait option, flower option and more. I haven't even researched them all yet. If you don't want to delve into all the options, there's a smart record button that simply toggles to what the camera thinks is best. I haven't played with the share button yet and really don't

Around the world and back

I think I've pushed this camera to the limit. :) If you're looking for a travel camera or just a camera for everyday use, you won't go wrong with the Kodak C143. I've literally driven around the world and back and the only problems have been my fault. I dropped it on the street once and it broke the battery door so I had to use a rubber band to keep it closed. And then I tried superglue and also glued the grip knob, which in turn made the zoom slider hard. So right now my camera has a rubber…
