Robust quality product that does exactly what it promises.

This film storage box is made of very thick steel top and bottom. I believe the finish is powder coated, not painted. It's very heavy and durable. It holds five rolls of 35mm film in a thick plastic inner divider. This case will serve you until they stop making 35mm film. Please note that this case is not waterproof.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

Awesome Film Case

For those of us who love vintage and remember the glory days of movies, this little gem is going to be a real blast from the past. The color scheme is a nod to the days when Kodak was ubiquitous in American life, and the fit and finish are top-notch. There's no plastic here, just well-painted (dare I say powder-coated? That's so good!) steel, ready to protect your film from anything but a small nuclear device. If you're shooting on 35mm film, you have to use one of these.

Pros
  • It's Awesome
Cons
  • Some Mistakes

Very cool retro look but quite heavy and clunky

I've been watching this film sleeve since I read on PetaPixel that it was released. It looks cool with the retro style, but I have to wonder if I'm really making my camera bag heavier (8.5 oz/240 g). Compare this to the plastic case (3oz/85g) designed by Japan Camera Hunter. What I don't understand is why the designers didn't try to make the case a little smaller and lighter. In my photo you can see the body is larger than the real retro Kodak 35mm canisters. I should add that the way the case…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style
