LIMITED CONTINUOUS USE

Love the compactness. I had to purchase a different cable attachment than the one that came in the box. The projector shut down completely after 10 minutes of operation and has not restarted. We designed the PowerPoint program with about 25 slides. Do not recommend this product for presentations or video content for a period of time. Seems to heat up and close on a whim.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works great!: Video projectors

Be realistic in your expectations and you will be satisfied. It's not a $5,000 4K projector, it's a pocket projector. For me, this is exactly what I wanted/expected. It connects to my laptop quickly and easily, allows for impromptu presentations, and the battery lasts pretty well. I've used it a few times now and can't complain. Just have realistic expectations and know what you are buying.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negativity is present

DOES NOT GO ANYWHERE. on video projectors

About 90% of what I wanted to project - Revain, Netflix, etc. - didn't project at all. Nothing projected from my iPhone and almost nothing projected from my MacBook. What was supposed to be projecting from my MacBook had a terrible lag - sound, image - and then froze completely. Looks nice. Sounds good. Great if you want a $200 paperweight that pretends to be a useful tech. Useless and expensive piece of plastic.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Big and bulky

NOT for gaming: video projectors

The description says 'addictive games' and even uses it with Xbox. Well, when you connect it to an Xbox you don't get the advertised 1080p picture quality, instead you get stuck at 720p. In fact, I think the only way to get 1080p quality is to use it with a PC and set the secondary screen resolution to 1080p. Therefore, 1080p displays should be ported with the understanding that these are limited situations. Otherwise, it's bright enough when you're in a dark room and works well.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It's ok for the price

I like its shape, color, size and light weight. There are several problems. Unless the room is very dark, the images will be blurry or invisible. Even when it's completely dark, the images are darker than my other projectors can do. An adapter is required to connect to the iPhone7. It connects to my MacBook Pro with the included HDMI cable, but requires some setup on the Mac side instead of a simple connection. Still I like it. I think it's very good for the price.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Doubtful

Doesn't need to be marked iPhone/iPad Compatible

We bought this unit to use with the iPad or iPhone to project movies. According to the description, it is compatible, but does not recognize any device. I bought an adapter cable, but I can't connect Apple devices to the projector. It also doesn't recognize the Apple file format when you save movies from your Apple account to a flash drive. I'm having trouble converting the files to a format that the Kodak projector recognizes. It also doesn't support Bluetooth or WiFi. I contacted Kodak and…

Clear image to trace

Bought small size - not wireless This is exactly what I needed. Without going into details, I project an image to trace it on the material. (similar to Cookie Constructor) The images I trace are tiny and detailed and this projector produces a sharp and crisp image. I had to buy an adapter to use it with my iPad. The projector doesn't warn you when it's about to die, so I drew in the middle when it turned off. I may need to keep it connected to the network when using it. But I don't have to…

Perfect! on video projectors

I used this ultra mini Kodak portable projector to project photos onto a table so I could track and see each color. I do this with a tripod (make sure the tripod has the right size mounting screw) that has two screw sizes. I don't want a very dark room, but the darker the better the picture is to see. The main reason I bought this mini projector is that it projects a very small image that I can trace onto watercolor paper, most other mini projectors can't be that small. Happy with this purchase

  • Excellent overall

Excellent product, the best among video projectors

This is a very good product. I was watching a movie while it was connected to my laptop. As other commenters have mentioned, the battery lasts 2 hours from a full charge even when plugged in. However, when connected to your smartphone, it will not be projected immediately. I had to unplug and plug my phone back in and several times the display was built into the projector, even though I changed the display on my phone it didn't change the display on the projector. I had to power cycle…
