The pillow's stretchy sides are wide enough to fit around the mattress and feel like it will hold up great. Only time will tell how it will hold up, but it looks like it was sewn up decently. Just not big enough on the top.

This is the best mattress topper we have ever used for our little one. Even after several washes, it fits perfectly on the mattress. It's durable, soft, and definitely waterproof, which is something we haven't had on others we've used in the past. The price is great too! I highly recommend this product!
