Great product and great price!

Put them in my Simms waders after refusing to pay $35 for 10 Simms spikes. I've since added them to my sorels and all my friends' waders, and I still have enough spares for years to come. For 2 seasons he has not replaced a single one.

Instant Grip with Wellies

If you're worried they're not worth using for waders, I'm here to tell you they're 100% worth it. Slip them into the soles of my Simms Tributary boots and I'll never slide down slippery stream beds again. Only use 10 in each boot so they will last forever. Haven't lost a single one in 3 rides, the only wear and tear is the paint has peeled off where they touch the rocks.

Excellent value for money Spare part

Bought these for my fishing waders on the recommendation of other fly fishermen. They cost about 1/10th the cost of similar screws sold specifically for waders. The only possible difference lies in the material. An expensive tungsten carbide variety I don't know the composition of but at this price and quantity they can be interchanged any number of times and are still cheaper.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

Used for DIY Waders

Used to drill out the soles of some old boots to make improvised surf plugs out of docks and other slippery rock structures. For $10 and a pair of old Nike Shox I had incredible corkers that I wore with socks over my waders, instead of paying $200 for a pair of boots I only used them a couple of times a year. To be honest it held up and worked better than most Simms friends or corkers etc. If one ever popped out I would just put a new one in. Absolutely great for my use.

Great for waders

I bought these because I refuse to pay $30-$50 for 8 Simms and Orvis waders. I didn't think I needed them at first but a friend convinced me to try them after I slipped on the rocks and nearly injured myself. I figured that for the few dollars it costs it would be foolish to try and save a dime on what I consider protective gear. Anyway, I took 3/8 inch cleats and screwed them into the soles of my waders using the pre-curved spots on my custom boots. I smeared them with a drop of superglue…

Not the best substitute for wader cleats

I liked the idea of using these wader cleats for fly fishing. Unfortunately, the screw size is much narrower than the original cleats I replaced (Kabela's boots). They installed easily and appeared to be firmly attached, but after a fairly brief transition I found that most of them had been pulled out. I think they would have worked great if the rivets hadn't been installed sooner. Another notable aspect of these studs is the pointed tip. I noticed that my original wader cleats had flattened…

Waders are a good option

I have used these screws on my fly fishing waders (Reddington) instead of the recommended screws (which cost 8x more). They were easy to install and stayed in place for two seasons. They provide ample traction; The screw heads haven't worn down or rounded yet, so I can't really fault them for durability. Also, they come in bulk packs, so you can replace them often if needed. Do not purchase screws specifically for waders as they are very expensive and only last for one installation. Use them as

arrived quickly very sharp 3/8 "

i will be using these ice bolts on a 1984 honda atc 200es for ice fishing. arrived quickly and very sharp! i have 500 pieces of 3/8 ordered ". My rear tires are Blackwaters, basically the tread pattern on tractor tires! The front is just a standard bump. I wasn't sure what size to go with, so I played it safe and went with 3/8 inch. They are very easy to install if you have a 1/4" socket and a drill/percussion tool to install them. . They screw in very easily and definitely hold on! I tried…
