Kolpin Lock Rite ATV System Review

I love this item! Now when I'm on the hunt, I'll dash off in no time without having to worry about mounts. You also don't have to worry about the quad being thrown through the rear window. Very strong and if you buy some security pins it will help deter theft. Worried it would work with my tundra but fits like a glove.

Very strong. Does a great job. Difficult. My quad never wavered between this and using my whore. I deducted a star as your quad should sit almost to the edge with its back to the tailgate leaving a large gap between the front of the quad and the cabin. I wasn't a fan because of the weight distribution. I was caught in a strong gust of wind, and it seemed to me that I was about to be shoved into another lane.

Driven 1200 miles. That includes an 85 mph interstate and off road to get my 4 wheeler to the start of the trail. I have no complaints or regrets buyers. The thing is cool and very comfortable compared to my caravan. Enormous fuel savings compared to towing a trailer. It takes a minute to set up, but it's worth it. I have a feeling they are over tightening the screws. Good product!

I drove all the way from my parents house in Louisiana to my house in North Dakota. My 4 wheel bike wouldn't budge and it saved me about 3ft of space on my bed, I really like this mount. It took a little time to install the first time, but it breaks easily. My only complaint is that the receiver hole is welded on the inside and I had to sand down the seam with a dremel or my new hitch wouldn't fit.

I bought this product for about 6 months. Although installation can be a bit tricky, the product works as advertised. I only give two stars because of the poor quality of the screws. After about 10 uses, two important locking bolts broke. As shown in the video, the first is a push handle bolt. It seems that the thread has stripped and the screw is no longer tightened. I put my 4 wheeler in the back seat of a 2008 Tacoma and tightened everything up. On Friday I drove 210 miles on Interstate and Interstate Highways. I drove many kilometers off-road on Saturday before unloading on Sunday. At each stop I checked how secure the load was and it never moved, wobbled, swayed, nothing. I bought this unit because my ATV was too long to fit in the back of my truck with the tailgate closed. I have used it several times and am very happy with it; money well spent. The block itself is very powerful. It is made of high quality steel. The hardware is also very high quality. The cotter pins appear to be coated in grade 8 titanium.
